Around 1998 Heather did a project for school which she published online as the PATHFINDER: JAMES GROVER THURBER (1894-1961).

The Last Word Is Bliss began in December 2009 as a show-and-tell outlet for Heather's latest crafty inventions.

In December 2010 we moved to Mississauga, Ontario, and Heather began YeOldeMississaugaBlog.

The Gadget Apps Hacks Blog contains reviews of various gadgets, hardware, software and web sites that I own or use at home, and began in January 2006.

The Rent By Owner Guide shares what we have learnt over the years renting our two vacation home by owner. It was started in September 2011.

Beech Mountain

Our family was first introduced to Beech Mountain NC in 2006. We fell in love with the cool summers (it rarely goes above 80F) and quickly bought a place of our own.

We spend as much time up there as possible, and make it available to others as a Beech Mountain Vacation Rental when we're not there.

To pass along those things that we've learned ourselves, and from our guests, about vacationing on Beech Mountain, we began the Beech Mountain Bliss Blog in 2008.

Sunset Beach

We've been visiting the North Carolina coast together since 1993, but first discovered Sunset Beach in 2008. The wide open beach, lack of commercialization on the island, and variety of restaurants and attractions nearby, made it perfect for our family.

We bought a Sunset Beach Golf Villa in Sunset Village @ Sandpiper Bay. It's a beautiful place to vacation, and from which to explore the coast.

We started the Sunset Beach Bliss Blog in 2009, to share everything that we learn about enjoying the area.
